I went shopping the other day in Lagos (Lagos Island), and Nnamdi Azikiwe to be precise and the fabulous goodies available is really kool. With ensuring events are unique you find that one has to scout a little. And a mixture of foreign and local goods usually is a good recipe for unique events. We got some fabulous wrapping paper, crepe paper, flowers etc.

| It was also interesting to take pictures of these scroll letters. The woman apparently said they come from China. Hmmn... I thought they were made locally. They are common but that's because they're low-priced. I prefer the bedazzled letters :D |

Meanwhile if you are interested in getting any of the above items; be sure to hit the Island with some flip flops and preferable 'carless' lol or parked some distance away from all the Lagos Island traffic and drama. I do the Oluwole parking or if I can't be bothered and feel like strolling, I park at the Oando/Chicken Republic area (oops lol).
