Eru-Iyawo Shopping in Lagos (part 1)

Hi y'all,

I went shopping the other day in Lagos (Lagos Island), and Nnamdi Azikiwe to be precise and the fabulous goodies available is really kool. With ensuring events are unique you find that one has to scout a little. And a mixture of foreign and local goods usually is a good recipe for unique events. We got some fabulous wrapping paper, crepe paper, flowers etc.

Lovely Faux Flowers

These are also faux flowers and are absolutely divine

These are faux flowers with an embedded frame; so you can actually clip/key many together to make an entire wall of flowers.

This is Swalek Bridals. The very popular store for brides, decorators and so on. \The above images were gotten from there. Further details below.

These are also faux flowers but are made from
fabric as opposed to the other ones.
You can find these all over the market in many colors.

It was also interesting to take pictures of these scroll letters.
The woman apparently said they come from China.
Hmmn... I thought they were made locally.
They are common but that's because they're
low-priced. I prefer the bedazzled letters :D

Rhinestone Fabric Mesh...
Fabulous for decor,  sewing and all sorts.
I can't wait to share some projects using these with you.

Ribbons, Ribbons, Ribbons! I use ribbons for so many things and so do most people who
entertain  or are in the hospitality/events business. For gifts, hampers, decor,
eru iyawo... loads and loads of stuff.

We got a lot of unique items and once fully decorated or being used; I will upload them for you to see the finished products.

Meanwhile if you are interested in getting any of the above items; be sure to hit the Island with some flip flops and preferable 'carless' lol or parked some distance away from all the Lagos Island traffic and drama. I do the Oluwole parking or if I can't be bothered and feel like strolling, I park at the Oando/Chicken Republic area (oops lol).

Swalek Bridal: 08023399139, 08090636800

The other items were from random vendors in the market opposite Swalek.
